Peppermint Patti

The challenge this week at Lollipop Crafts is to make gift tags and what better time to do it. This is one that I made using Peppermint Patti from Fairy Knoll for a Christmas gift. I removed her fairy wings and colored her up in the traditional reds and greens of the season.

Did you know? Peppermint is the oldest and most popular flavor of mint-flavored confectionery. The plant is a hybrid mint, a cross between the watermint and spearmint, is widespread in cultivation throughout all regions of the world. Peppermint has a long tradition of medicinal use, with archaeological evidence placing its use at least as far back as ten thousand years ago. It is said that the aroma of peppermint has been found to enhance memory.
