The challenge is to create a card inspired by your home town's heritage, popular icons or predominant culture. The second challenge is to add texture.
For the first challenge, I live in Fort Worth, Texas and included several elements: First I gave Hugh a trendy cowboy hat and rope to represent all the casual cowboys of the city; next the shape behind him resembles the towering grain silos that dot my area; the star is for the state's nickname, "Lone Star State" and features a new city logo; the metal tag has been distressed to symbolizes the metal recycling industry that I drive past regularly; and lastly I riveted a faux leather to the background to represent the town's culture and ample selection of cowhide upholstery.
