Christian Vamp

Call me crazy but the 12 days of Halloween from Simply Betty Stamps sounds like fun! I'm not sure if I can do all 12 days but cheer me on! ;D I made this card using Christian Vamp from Simply Betty Stamps. I combined challenges: to create a card or project which included skull(s); color with orange; a Halloween/Spooky theme; anything goes; and one for the 3 B's: Boy, Button, & Black. They're tiny... but those bats are buttons!

I made this card using Happy Day from Wags'n Whiskers and this week's challenge is to create a card or project based on a Vintage Shabby Chic theme. My favorite part are her sparkly shoes!

On this card I added a few subtle details such as the looped earrings and sparkles over the stars on the background. Did you know? Bats are the only mammals naturally capable of true and sustained flight. By contrast, other mammals said to fly, such as flying squirrels, gliding possums and colugos, glide rather than fly, and can only glide for short distances. Bats do not flap their entire forelimbs, as birds do, but instead flap their spread out digits.

As you might have noticed, I often make more than one post in a day! But now is the time you've been waiting for and using random.org, the WINNER of the BLOG CANDY is...

Karen B. --- CONGRATULATIONS!

Although the card doesn't explicitly say "thank you" it is my way of saying Thank You for the wonderful time I had being a Guest! My Guest DT term has ended with Whiff of Joy and this is my last official post as a design team member... however, it's certainly not going to be the last Whiff of Joy creation I make!

Thank you Katharina and all the wonderful gals on the Whiff of Joy Design Team - I had so much fun!

It is thought to be a hybrid of Malus sylvestris, the European Wild Apple, with the domestic apple M. domestica as the polleniser. Fashionette Lil Lolita 50's Lilith

I made this card using Fashionette Lil Lolita 50's Lilith from Tickled Pink Stamps. This challenge this week at Lil Lolita Boutique is to create a card or project based on the sketch provided. I rotated it and used it to decorate a notebook I had available.

I used paper-piecing on most of it and made sure to glue everything down instead of using tape. Now it really is stuck together and great for using! The other challenge is about the letter G and to create a card or project using these three things: Girl, Green, Glisten. For glisten, I sprayed a shimmering mist over the notebook and also used Crystal Effects on the skulls and shoes!

I made this card using Shane Playing Basketball from The Stamping Bazaar designed by Marina Neira. This is an excellent stamp for both a boy or girl but it also has some sentimental history too which really made it fun to use!

I've decided to also send this one to Operation Write Home along with the other cards I made. I figured they probably need lots of boy cards! Together, my Mom and I pulled a bunch of cards from our stash to bundle and hope it helps out.

I altered this notebook using Tracy digi and Label 1 rubber stamp from InStyle Stamps., Tracy is also available in a rubber stamp. Town Girl

** BLOG CANDY ** Today is the last day to enter yourself into the drawing pool for some blog candy! Go to my Blog Candy - Whiff of Joy post to leave a comment and read all the details. There are currently 88 Followers but only 15 Comments on that post so your chances are high - Good luck! **

I made this card using Town Girl by InStyle Stamps. The challenge is an anything goes theme and I experimented with a single-layer white card. Using the border embossing folder really adds the final touch to complete this card. I only wish the embossing folders were just a tad bit bigger as I always have to trim my card down about 1/4" to fit the design.
