Louisa and Leoncio

Welcome to Day 2 of the Valentine's Blog Hop brought to you by The Stamping Bazaar and the fabulous Marina Neira! I made this card using Louisa and Leoncio which will be released this Saturday, January 22. Louisa is one of my favorite TSB characters so I was excited to see she had mate. I'm tring to get back to the basics with embellishments so I used a few of my "staples" on this card including lace and pearls. I'm always surpised at how well stitching will finish off the look of a card and alternating between stright stitching and zig-zag was fun.

Did you know? Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids is an animated series created, produced, and hosted (in live action bookends) by comedian Bill Cosby, who also lent his voice to a number of characters. The show premiered in 1972 and ran until 1985. The show, based on Bill Cosby's remembrances of his childhood gang, focused on the lovable, oversized Albert, with his signature rumbling exclamation "Hey hey hey!", and his friends.
