School Girl Tia

It's another challenge day at Make it Colourful and this week we want to colour with purple!! This challenge is sponsored by Some Odd Girl and for my project I used School Girl Tia and Bookish Tia then set in front of the Sunflower Garden by Make it Crafty.

Today I just have a colored image for you and I used two shades of purple. For the clothes and eyes I used V91, V93, V95 and V99. Then for the hair I used V112, V15, and V17. I also used a a new skin tone combination which is E000, E00, E21, E53.

Time to get out those purples and lets see what you got - and don't forget to upload your pictures into the new gallery! :D

Welcome to the second day of previews over at Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog! Today I'm showing off two more girls... Madelyn and Kaitlyn... so head on over and check out what the rest of the DT have created with these new gals. ;D

I used Madelyn in my mini journal and kept the layout simple with a couple sheets of decorative paper and a dragonfly brad. Finally I went around the edge with a white gel pen for some faux stitching. I had printed her out larger than normal and was pretty lucky that she fit on the page. LOL

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Jan's Art Journal Linking Party
Crazy Amigo Challenge - sewing
Digistamps4Joy Challenge #27 - colors of fall
Creative Card Crew - anything goes
The Pixie Cottage Challenge #86 - mellow yellow

Welcome to the New Releases for Little Miss Muffet Stamps and I have four new girls for you this week, starting with Brooke and Melanie! Head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenges blog for all the new release inspiration by the design team.

For my project I used Brooke from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and placed her sitting on The Dock by The Pixie Cottage. All of the new girls this week are bare foot and ready for some spring frolicking on fresh new grass and splashing in the cool ponds.

I created this page using warm tones on the paper and some cool tones in the coloring to help it look like the first warm days of spring just setting in. This week we've had a good break in our relentless heat and it cooled down dramatically and it's felt like spring all week - it's been so nice!

The rest of the page was decorated with chippies from Make it Crafty, some twill tape from my stash and some flowers from Prima... oh yea, and a tag from Tim Holts finishes it off. Hope you like the new journal page and come check back tomorrow for another. ;D

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Hooked on Crafts Challenge #7 - spring has sprung
Crafty Cardmakers Challenge #51 - summer holiday memories
Crafty Boots Challenge - anything goes
Craft Your Passion Challenge #74 - flowers

This is Brittany and isn't she a ca-utie!! I love her hair and wish my own could look like that. He he he - but pink, curly or not, I had loads of fun coloring her. Brittany is part of the Everyday Jude & The Rockers from Simply Betty Stamps and the whole line is simply adorable. ;D

I made this mini journal page for the Simply Betty Stamps Gettin' Sketchy challenge and chose to use the same sketch that SBS is sponsoring this week... Deconstructing Jen, Sketch #17. The layout is a simplified version of the sketch so it would fit on the smaller page and I used a Tim Holtz tag for the center. Then finished it up with some leftover orange lace I had from last year and tied on a charm.

Mini Medusa

Ah, yes, it's getting close to Halloween and I'm finally giving into the craze and using those spooky images! After all, I have plenty of them on my shelf that are just crying for the ink! I created this mini page in my journal using Mini Medusa from Make it Crafty. There are six of these cute new monsters and I had to color each one. ;D

The orange mesh ribbon is a new embellishment I picked up last week and was so excited I almost bought out the store! The rest of the supplies have been used before and I even used a small scrap of the Filigree Borders chippies up in the corner - just couldn't throw that little piece away! LOL
