It's another project day at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and this fortnight it's all about "Simplicity!"  However, remember, that if you use a LMMS then you can always submit an "Anything Goes" project, which is what category my project falls into today.  :D

For my project I created a birthday card using Yvonne from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and some of that neon blue that I just "love!"  I have colored all four of these images with this paper as inspiration and little did I know how bright the colors would photograph.  LOL  Ah, well, it's a bright and cheery card which is just perfect for birthdays!  The sentiment is from Penny Black and is such a fun way to bring a little bit of "geek" into the card.

A little something I did different with the banners this time is wrapped ribbon around the paper banner to create a layered effect.  Then I cut the bottom of the ribbon to match.  The silk ribbon was a little slippery at first but I like how it turned out... don't you?!  Anyway, thanks for coming by today and be sure to head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful projects the DT has created for you today - they're awesome!!

  1. Gorgeous card dearest Barbara,elegant^_^

  2. My parents are 82 years young. I have a picture of them when they were 16 years old and my mom is dressed like this image, even the black hair is the same. Love this.

  3. Great card, Barbara! Love the blues and the banner! Wonderful coloring!

  4. Какая милая открытка! Черный, белый, голубой - очень красивые цвета.

  5. Loving the blue and pretty details. X
