The Van Family

It's an exciting day over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps today as we celebrate the newest release!!  This time it's all about family and Thankgsiving with some fun new styled images a my favorite Operation TREEHOUSE kiddos!  There are some great combos and specials too so you don't want to miss out - head on over today and see what's available!

For my project I used the new "The Van Family" and created a representation of my family.  With Dad, Mom, three Sisters and complete with our little pooch.  Each of these images are separate so there are many ways you can use them.  You can get them individually or the whole set at a great introductory price!!  I've also used the Party Banner from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and embellished it with faux stitches and Baker's Twine.

Speaking of family... here's a puzzle for you.  This is a close up picture of my youngest daughter and we were trying to figure out what color her eyes are.  It's easy to say they're multicolored of blue, green and brown or maybe simplify it to gray.  However, if she was going to write a color on her driver's license, then what color does she put down??

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you've enjoyed my project for the week.  It was fun to get into the craft room today and get something colored up!!  Make sure you head on over to the LMMS Challenge Blog too and see all the awesome creations from the DT.  Cheers!

  1. Your card is fabulous Barbara, I really love the images and such gorgeous papers too.
Your daughters eyes are almost the same colour as mine and I often have the same problem. I usually say they are gray/green which isn't very helpful- sorry!!

  4. your card is awesome I love your banners...

as for your daughter I would go with hazel, hard to tell in the photo, but my daughter has grey eyes but her eyes are very clear grey, if you are not comfortable with that color and you see other colors in her eyes, use hazel... i did for my son, who has one eye, hazel green and the other hazel, yellow brown... DMV doesn't usually care as long as you're close enough... as for my daughter's eye we asked her eye doctor, he classified it using the martin scale...

  10. Oh Barbara, this one is so cute! Love the family card and the entire set of digi's. I agree with Frea, your daughters eyes are gorgeous but I know for myself I have a grayish/blue colored eye and I always put down blue.

  13. My daughter has the same eyes!!!! Her's change depending on what she is wearing. We call them hazel, but they can shift between green, blue & grayish. Her eyes were blue at birth (we both have brown), but they constantly changed until the last year. See if her eyes change based on her clothing.
