Edwin with Stolen Heart

Is anyone a Backyardigans fan? Well, I've been having fun with some Magnolia stamps and colored a few of them to resemble the Backyardigans characters! LOL So this first one is Tyrone the moose and I used Edwin with Stolen Heart which was perfect!


All I had to do was add some antlers and ears then color in the face to look like Tyrone and the rest was easy... Edwin had the perfect shirt on and the face came naturally. :D To do this, I first drew in the the extras with a light pencil and just before coloring it, I erased the pencil marks as much as possible.


Check out that cute face... isn't he adorable?! Tomorrow I'll have a short tutorial on how I colored Uniqua so you can see how easy it was. I ended up coloring all five characters and made a gift set out of them for an elementary school teacher. So what do you think? An acceptable conversion?

Hatter

Welcome back to the Alice in Wonderland Chibis previews from Simply B Stamps! Today we have the wonderful Alice - she'd be perfect for the upcoming holiday especially holding that bunny. Agent Eclair

I've got a little surprise for you today... it's a new challenge at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and we even have a freebie for you to use!! But before we get to those details I want to show off my project first. :D Our theme for this fortnight is Silhouettes - that's right, we want to see your silhouettes and shadows!


For my project I merged three silhouette images to create the background... Agent Éclair Dropping, Agent Cupcake Descending and Treehouse Headquarters. The card came together quickly but in the end I decided to add a bit of color and added Agent Éclair in the foreground. The saying on the metal embellishment is "Possibility begins with imagination" which I thought as perfect for these girls. :D


All the Silhouettes were released last week from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and even the rubber stamps are available in silhouette digi form!! It's a steel of a deal too... any three silhouettes for just $3.00 - so head on over and start browsing for some ideas. :D

This is our third day of previews for of the Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection and this, of course, Cheshire from Simply B Stamps. The keys were painted with acrylic dot paints and they're from Maya Road, Antique Keys Mini Chipboard. Then I've used the same banner metal dies and cheese cloth from all the other banners too.

The White Queen

Everyone knows who the White Queen is, right? To be honest, I didn't even know she existed because, um, well, you know... the Disney version didn't include her in the cartoon! LOL Then I grew up and learned all movies come from books and the books contain thousands of more details that never make it to the movies! Hence, my education began. :D

The Tweedles

Oh boy! Have I got some fun things planned for his week and I'm excited to show them all off - but, I'll have to restrain myself and spread them throughout the week - bummer. :D Among one of those things is the new releases from Simply B Stamps! This week we're bringing you inspiration in the form of Alice in Wonderland Chibis Collection. ;D


The image I used is The Tweedles, from Simply B Stamps, and in true sibling fashion they are bashing it out to see who is the best. LOL I made banners for each of the characters so you'll get to see one new one every day. :D

Grampa Grumps

It's New Release day over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and today we have several new images to show off! I'm using Grampa Grumps which fits my mood perfectly today. LOL I found the perfect sentiment to go along with him and I love this new color combination of pink too which is R81, R56 and R59.


This little guy also comes as a variation holding a sign that says "NO!" which is where he got his name from - his expression and the "no" answer reminds me of a grumpy Grandpa. LOL Don't you think?
