Witchy Boo Betty

I had the fortune to go shopping with my sister - she was running an errand to complete here costume, and I, was just along for the ride knowing that she'd be hitting a craft store!  It was great fun and while I was there, I found so many things that weren't on my list - imagine that?!  One of those was these black and white lollipop straws sitting next to the Sixlets candy and that's when the light bulb went off - they'd be a perfect in making lollipop sticks!  And lucky for me, I already had shaker tops to use.  :D

The image I used on this is Witchy Boo Betty from Simply Betty Stamps and I'm entering it into the 12 Day of Halloween challenge.  The challenge is to make something with a shape (the lollipop) but I had to make a card holder to go along with it.  :D

I ended up making three, for my three munchkins!

All three of them use images from Simply B Stamps.  This one below is

The last one I made merged two images together from the Jude and His Shenanigan Crew theme:

Last but not least, is a lollipop holder that my daughter made for her cousin.  We put this one in the mail and had to add extra postage for the sucker!  LOL

This image from The Greeting Farm and is Wild Sprouts Dressy.

Thanks for coming by and hope you have a great Halloween day!

Little Witch Ariel

Shuckie-darn!  :(   I've totally missed out on all the fun action over at SBS Challenge where Betty likes to have a 12 Days of Halloween challenge every year.  It's such a fun way to get into the festivities.  But I've managed to catch the tail end and I'll be able to finish out the month with a few days at least.  :D

For my project I've used Little Witch Ariel which is a Simply B Stamp image and part of the Jude and His Shenanigan Crew Halloween theme.  Then for the card, I used some chipboard embellishments from Make it Crafty and created the Halloween scene.  The house was backed by yellow paper to light it up.  :D

I'd like to enter this into the following challenge(s):

Girls Singing Carols

Today I'm posting this wintery project on the Make it Crafty blog and I hope Zoe can forgive me as I've completely forgotten what day I'm suppose to post on!  Maybe that means the guilt will get to me and you'll end up with an extra project here and there that I'll share to make up for it.  LOL  I started coloring this scene up for an assignment which, after getting nearly done, I found out that it didn't even come close to matching the requirements - yikes!  Luckily I had enough time to get the real project done and posted; although I still had to finish this one up.  :D

Make it Crafty Images:
I've been playing around with a bit of black and white coloring and it helps me to focus on the shadows and contrast a lot easier than with colors.  However, to add a bit of color and contrast in a designing aspect, I colored one image black and white and the other image in full color.  It worked out a lot better than I expected!  Then because I was too lazy to get my Christmas cards out, I just grabbed the closest green and red paper and used that.  As a result, I think it has more of a vintage feel to it and I like that effect.

This image is also perfect for practicing coloring faces with the same light source but in three different angles.  I was able to focus on the cheeks and noses and could have gone a bit darker but started to get worried that I'd mess it up.  So, you'll have to look closely for *those* details!  Thanks for dropping by and I hope you've enjoyed this little bit of wintery inspiration!

Here's a simple birthday card that I created for a boy using one of my favorite images.  This bird is Pluto from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and it was inspired after Zoe's own bird. Although it's not exact and he doesn't talk either.  LOL  But I'm happy to report he can be colored up in a variety of colors!

Animal Cracker Circus Alligator

Before the wall was removed I had a saying above my craft room door that said "so many toys, so little time."  It's true!   But now I need one here that says "so many posts, so little time."  LOL

So due to lack in time to write and without further adeu. .. Here's a project I made with   Imaginisce Animal Cracker Circus Alligator by Inkadinkado. :D
