Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot

It's our Super Saturday event and there are several new rubber stamps on sale at Little Miss Muffet Stamps including this cutie, Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot!  I had colored this image up a long, long time ago - in fact, this is the same one I used to create the graphics in the store when this image was first released!  So I feel good that I finally got around to placing her on a card and show her off.

The image I used is Celeste Amberglow Flowerpot from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and drawn by Pollycraft.   She'd be perfect for a forget-me-not card, Mother's Day or even a thinking of you card!  The card I created was trying to use up some of my scraps and I think I'm getting tired of those sheet - luckily I'm about the last one on this pack, if not the last one.  Yeah!

A while ago I set a goal to have all my colored images onto cards plus a couple goals on coloring the images that I had.  I made some progress but I think the goal was just a tad bit too big and I wasn't able to get there.  But the good news is, that makes for more cards this year!!   LOL  Here are the stats if I decide to pick it back up again - or rather, to see how I'm progressing at the end of this year.

Catching up by 2014!

Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Pepper

I just wanted to pop in with a project to share and to also say thank you for helping out in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser with Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  With any luck, my kids are happily jump roping today at school - but with the snow falling on the ground there is a chance school will be cancelled and the actual jump rope event will be delayed until Monday.  But regardless... they're elated with both!  LOL

With purchases and separate donations together we raised $108 total - that's $54 for each!

For this project, I used Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Pepper with a fun rope-like ribbon that I found at the craft store and just "had" to use with this card.  :D  I hope you enjoy and thank you!

To do this, I colored and cut out the image, cutting away the jump rope but leaving the jump rope handles.  Holes were punched behind the dolls' hands where I threaded the plastic ribbon (the jump rope) through and taped the ends onto the back of the green paper.  Then with foam dots I popped the image on top.  This is one project that I'm super excited how my idea actually worked!  LOL  Lastly, I added some doodles where were directly inspired by one of Faye's recent projects.  Thanks Faye!  :D

Monster Balloon Your Day

We're celebrating at Little Miss Muffet Stamps this month for our 3rd Birthday but today is extra special because we have ten new stamps out to play with!!  They all feature a celebration theme and I've chosen to work with Monster Balloon Your Day available in rubber.  I think this is a perfect boy card and I've used as many primary colors as possible... reds, blues and yellows; plus a little green and gray to coordinate with the paper I used.

This project uses Monster Balloon Your Day rubber stamp from Little Miss Muffet Stamps plus the Party Banner Metal Die, also from LMMS.  I've colored it with Copic markers and used a black fine tipped marker for some doodling on the outside.

Bailey Blowing Kisses

Love is in the air at Make it Crafty and not just because we have new images but because we have a new illustrator too! Victoria has such a cute style and her images are perfect for colouring enthusiasts of all levels. The style is simple enough for beginners to practice blending yet offer flexibility for the more adventurous colourer to add detail to clothing and hair. We hope you love this new collection as much as we do and to help celebrate we thought we would have a fun blog hop to showcase the new release.

If you're already floating on the MiC Love Balloon...
you should have arrived from the fantastic MELISSA
though if you're just joining us and want to join the fun, pop on over to Zoe's Blog Here

It wouldn’t be a Make it Crafty blog hop without prizes so we’ve got hidden prizes
along the way randomly drawn from the comments section.

PLUS, between now and Sunday 9th, you can order the collection at a discount of 30%, normally discounted at 15%. You don’t need any codes! It’s automatically reduced in store.

For my project I've used the Make it Crafty images including Bailey Blowing Kisses plus a few elements from Whimsical Digi Elements and a new hanging branch with the bird on it.  This gal was so fun to color!

Seductive Barb

I wanted to share the details of my challenge project for this month and is one that I've enjoyed very much.  It has a little bit of everything to keep me happy... coloring, character, background and chippies. LOL Plus working with browns was the added bonus!

For this project I pulled out the journal and added another page.  I also combined it with the Australian Day challenge and a lifelong dream of mine... I'm sure putting it all together will easily reveal that I want to be Seductive Barb visiting Zoe in Australia.  :)

I hope this inspired you and come on over to join the Make it Colourful challenge this month!

Polka Dot Pals Andy

Here's a simple birthday card that I created using Polka Dot Pals Andy from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  He's a bit green but I think you're going to love the inspiration none the less!  LOL  He has probably stayed up all night and day playing his new game - which is something I've sort of down lately (the staying up all night and day, not the new game).  I think my kids would be along side of me too (and they'd be playing the new game)!  So if I don't feel like I'm making any sense lately... we'll, now you know why.  He he he

This was a fun little guy to color and would be just as much fun to color him a non-green color.  But you see, Jennifer colored a little piggy (she went Hot Wild with Extreme Color Placement!) so I had to respond with something - and she did such an awesome job with hers that I had to take the non-serious route and came up with coloring Kermit!
