Linking Train Halloween

Happy Halloween!  I had to squeeze in one more Halloween project this year and enjoyed this one.  I merged Linking Train Halloween with Linking Train Halloween Cars and Voodoo Heartache to create this scene.

I had fun with the embellishments on this one.  My favorite are the spiders.  I've used the spider punch several times and added dots for eyes but this time I added the gem on the back.  It turned out to look more like a real spider - even though they are orange.  They're so cute (well, at least I think they are) that I included a larger photo below.  Don't get spooked!  LOL

MonztaGalz

Happy Halloween Eve!  I thought this would be a fitting project for today seems most of us are out haunting the neighborhood this weekend.  This is one of the MonztaGalz from Make it Crafty.  A portion of it was actually a previous project, Mini Gothilia, and was I used it as the main focus for this project.  I also used my spiders paper punch and the Skulls & Bones cutters die for embellishments.

Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Chili Pepper as Frankenstein

This is my Frankenstein creation - complete and alive on a card.  I thought it would be fun to use the Lawn Fawn Polaroid stamp.  Frankenstein was created from Sugar 'n Spice Dolls Chili Pepper from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  For a limited time, you can get that stamp for free and give it a try yourself.  Muah ha ha ha

There were a lot of conversions on this stamp . . . first the arm was amputated and the shirt decal was removed before I printed it out.  (P.S. Check the TOU before you do this to your digital stamp as some companies don't allow this.  You are free to do this with a LMMS stamp just as long as you still give credit to LMMS.)

For coloring, I converted the eyeglasses to thick eye brows then added large stitching and neck bolts fitting for a Frankenstein.  Lastly, I added the tears in the shirt and colored a striking background.  (Oh yes, pun intended.  LOL).  This are all fun to do and hope you can give it a try too.  Have some fun!

Polka Dot Pals Lottie

I'm here with some LMMS inspiration and a card I created using some of the colored images I have stacked up.  I'm getting to the bottom of my pile and it feels good to finally use them all.

This project uses several stamps, Polka Dot Pals Lottie, Polka Dot Pals Add-on Faces and Daisy Rock.  PDP Lottie was colored with Marvy Le Plume markers and the Daisy Rock was colored using Copics.  The Howdy sentiment is from Make it Crafty and colored with yellow Liquid Pearls.

The rest of the card was kept simple.  I cut the image down to fit the standard size card and always like the look of part of the image "popping" out of the frame, such as these daises.  Hope you enjoyed this project and make sure you check out all the other projects from the Little Misses.  Cheers!

Trick or Kitty

I can't believe it's Halloween week already!  The costumes are out and the goodie bags are ready to be filled.  I wonder, who will share their candy this year?

This is Trick or Kitty from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  I had originally colored it when I released the image, years ago, and it's finally making it's way onto a project.  This image comes with a cauldron full of candy or a cauldron filled with a spell.  Both equally as fun but I'm sure the kids are going to want a trick rather than a treat.  LOL.

Book in Hand

Here's the girl that I previewed in the FB group and she's all finished on a card.  It's been a while since I've done paper piecing and I like how it turned out on her clothes.  This is Book in Hand by My Favorite Things and Puppy Additions from Little Miss Muffet Stamps.

I'm a sucker for almost any stamp that features a girl and a book so this one was no exception.  I used Creative Color Placement to give her some bright eyes.  The placement of the original eyes would have been funny so I used those dots as a marker for the outside of the eye.  They blinded in nicely with the eyelashes so it worked out.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for stopping by my blog this weekend.
