Polka Dot Pals Trillian

I've still got my towel and colored another image.  Whereas I feel like the last one was more of a warm-up, I really liked how this one turned out.  The background is actually part of the color to a colander I had last year.  I liked the starry night feel and just couldn't manage to toss it.  Now I'm glad I didn't.

This is Polka Dot Pals Trillian from the Towel Day release and colored it with Polychromos pencils.  I like how her face turned out and using the pencils was a lot easier than using the markers.  That allowed me to build up the area and take it slow.  I also used the Thanks for All the Fist Sentiment and printed that out on Kraft paper.

I'd like to share this project into these challenges . . .

  1. Her eyes are adorable! Love seeing it close up! Love the embellishments too! Is that a half of a zipper?

  2. This card is incredible! The coloring and the detail is perfection! You did an amazing job with the Lawnscaping Challenge, thank you so much for participating!

  3. I agree - this is marvelous - so well colored and such fabulous detail. I love how you used your pencils to such vibrant effects and you should love this card. Great job and appreciate your entry for our Cards in Envy Dark Blue challenge.

  4. Adorable card! Love the image and your coloring! Lots of great detail! Thanks for sharing with us at Cards in Envy.

  5. Barbara, I was scrolling through the CIE page and realized I forgot to let you know how much I liked your card. It's adorable, and your coloring is so well done. :)

Welcome to my gallery and thanks for your comments! :-D I love reading each one of them.
